Five Rivers Council Family,

This has been a hard and unexpected year on all of us, due to the current worldwide health crisis. Last night the Five Rivers Council Executive Board reached a unanimous decision regarding the operations of Cub Scout Day Camp, Cub Scout Adventure Camp and Scouts BSA Resident for the 2020 summer. Please see the attached letter regarding the Board’s decision.

We also know that as both New York and Pennsylvania start reopening that we need to start getting our Scouts and our Units active again. We must do this in a manner that is both safe and fun for all involved, especially since Scouting is a family activity. To that end the Executive Board has also decided the manner that the program will reopen and that is in accordance with Federal, State and local Health Department guidelines. Please review the attached document for full details.

Tonight, 5/29/20, at 6:30 PM there will be a Town Hall meeting to review the material. All Scouters and Scouting families are encouraged to attend.

Yours in Scouting,
