Camp Gorton Campmaster Corps

The Gorton Campmaster Corps is a group of dedicated, experienced, and trained Scouters (adult Scout Leaders) who volunteer to promote year-round Scout camping at our council camps, specifically Camp Gorton. The Campmaster Corps is comprised of teams, each with a team leader, who serve during weekend camping to aid Scout units.

Teams are comprised of 3 – 5 experienced Scouters who are willing to provide a skill to units in camp and provide service as well. We ask each Campmaster to dedicate at least two weekends throughout the Scouting year (Fall, Winter, Spring) camping season as a part of a Campmaster Team. Each team is expected to serve from Friday at 5:00 pm to Sunday at 1:00 pm. Campmaster Corps Teams will stay in Ambassdor Lodge.
