COPE Weekend

The COPE weekend will allow the scouts an opportunity to build key teamwork and leadership skills in a safe and fun environment. At the end of the weekend scouts will have had a chance to build their self-esteem by completing elements on the low course, elements on the high ropes course, and experienced our COPE tower and zip-line in the dark. COPE is the Challenging Outdoor Personal Experience that promotes teamwork, problem solving, decision making, and leadership.

Climbing Mountaineer Weekend

The climbing and mountaineer weekend will allow the scouts to learn and experience the thrills of climbing, while learning key leadership and presentation skills. At the end of the weekend the scouts will not only have climbed our forty foot tower in the dark but will have also taught other scouts key skills in climbing safely and responsibly. They will have also exceeded the requirements for the climbing merit badge and be able to complete the mountaineering elective for the ranger award. All this and more is accomplished in an environment that fosters teamwork, leadership, planning, decision making and much more.
