SUMMER CAMP NEEDS
AND
WISH LIST
All Scouts and leaders who attend, have a great time at Resident Camp. There are a wide variety of activities and classes to try out and do. Statistics show that Scouts who attend summer camp stay in the Scouting program longer and go farther. The history of Scouting also shows us that many adults choose their career or lifelong hobby, based on a merit badge that they earned as a Scout.
Operating a summer camp is an expensive. Costs of attending summer camp are kept down by the generous support of you…our Scouting family. This support is given in gifts (Friends of Scouting), service (working on projects or donating/loaning equipment to camp) and also donations of needed supplies.
Here is a list of supplies that are needed to operate summer camp. These items are needed and if not donated need to be purchased, which decreases the amount of money spent in other areas of camp.
